  About Grass Masters Cutting Edge:

  Grass Masters Cutting Edge is a locally owned and operated Golf Course/Sports Field Maintenance and Renovation Company located in Algona, IA.  Grass Masters was established in 2009 as a lawn care company and has expanded into golf course and sports turf services.

  The Position:

  Grass Masters Cutting Edge is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager.  This is a full-time, year round position.  The Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operation.  

  Job duties include, but not limited to:

• ·       Aeration of Sports Fields and Golf Courses
• ·       Laser Grading of baseball and softball infields
• ·       Drain tile installation
• ·       Irrigation installation
• ·       Renovation of sports fields and golf courses
• ·       Green, tee, and bunker construction
• ·       A typical work schedule is 6am-4pm Monday-Friday.  Hours may vary depending on work load.

• Job Requirements:

• ·       Post-secondary education in turfgrass management, horticulture, or related field.
• ·       Must be willing to travel throughout Iowa and southern Minnesota.
• ·       Self-motivated, flexible, and able to maintain equipment.
• ·       Must be able to obtain a commercial pesticide license within 30 days of hire.

• ·       Salary: 35,000-45,000 Annually (Wage is dependent on experience)
